Katiedid

Meet “Katiedid”. Kristen is the winner of our “Name that cookie contest”. Here is her story and cookie.

Growing up I was never a fan of chocolate chip cookies, as chocolate was not my thing. However, my mom would make oatmeal chocolate chip (oatmeal raisin is gross)! That changed everything! The combination of chocolate, cinnamon and oatmeal was perfect. This quickly became “My” special cookie. They remind me of childhood and not having a care in the world. Happier/simpler times

As I have become a mom, I realize how much time and effort my she put into making these just for me. I am calling these” Katiedid’s”. This was my nickname as a little girl, and even in to my 30’s I am still her Katiedid. Mom would always say…Cookies for my Katiedid. I love you mom!!
